{Style}

* Artistic, resourceful, and productive are the best words I can use to describe my scrapping style. If I had to choose a name for my style it would probably be something like “Artful Scrapping”. I love combining mixed media art and mediums with scrapbook supplies! I’m always ready to try new things, but I also like spending time fine tuning techniques that I already like to use. Good photography is extremely important to me, and I strive to improve my own every chance I get. My layouts and other scrapbooking projects are usually easy to re-create, and I love sharing new and old techniques that have worked well for me.

{Teaching Experience}

* I am now teaching classes almost monthly in Rusellville, AR.  Several of my classes are held in the meeting room at the Laquinta and others at a variety of local crops & retreats!

* I’ve taught at several Creating Keepsakes Conventions, Scrapbook Expo Conventions, Archiver’s Scrapfest, local Scrapbook Stores, crops in and out of state, CHA in Chicago & Anaheim, and the Memory Villa Annual Retreats!

*I also taught a six week college course on the art of scrapbooking at National Park Community College in Hot Springs, AR.

* I have a series of videos up on the Core’dinations Hard Core Crafter website.

* You can find me on 2peas as “Lavenderdragon”, on Instagram under Lavenderdragon, and I am also on Pinterest – of course because it’s awesome – and I’m under April Derrick / Lavenderdragon.

{Personal Goal}

*I would like to help inspire other scrapbookers, and show them that they can create art from their memories too, even if they are new to the exciting world of scrapbooking.

Creatively Yours,
April
