Digital & Hybrid Layouts!

Time Well Spent...

Time Well Spent...
Description : **Hybrid techniques used:
- First I digitally altered my photograph by adding a frame to it that was actually downloaded as a texture. I also changed the photo to 50% soft light so the colors popped a little more and then added text on top of the frame.

- Next I opened two different digital patterned papers, layered them on top of each other and then placed the photo on top. I also added a digital paint stroke embellishment behind the photo. I merged this and printed it out on white cardstock. After printing, I cut out all three so I could layer them dimensionally by using pop dots.

- I opened and printed several page embellishments using photoshop elements. I printed the "Fragile" tag, and the "Time Well Spent" title on a transparency sheet. I printed the cool blue/cream scroll embellishment on to a piece of sticky back canvas. The teal blue ric rac, together tag, and calendar embellishment were all printed on the textured side of a sheet of white cardstock.

- To complete the design, I added the following non-digital embellishments: mini staples, buttons, stickles from Ranger, two different patterned papers from Fancy Pants, a prima flower, Making Memories stickers, a rhinestone brad, and then I added journaling and glitter pen doodling.
