Perfect Photo
Description : The other day I found a sheet of white cardstock that I had used to teach a technique on last year. I took some Grape Lumiere paint and used a brayer to spread it across the page to create a super quick artsy background. Anyway, for whatever reason something just clicked in my mind when I saw it and I knew immediately what I wanted to do with it. I painted a Maya Road Sheer butterfly with acrylic paint and then outlined it with a glitter pen. I also colored some smaller Heidi Swapp Butterfly mirrors with alcohol ink and the red matched perfectly with the 7gypsies patterned paper in the background. I used a white opaque pen to journal on the stairs in my photo and also added a small strip of transparent butterfly ribbon from Maya Road. I used my new Tim Holtz tiny attacher. I added a couple of layered Prima flowers and used one of my Sakura gelly roll pens to color around the glittered brad in the center. I also distressed the edges of my cardstock with my tonic studio’s paper distresser. Last but not least, I added my fabulous Distress Stickles in Brick Red to the tops of my American Crafts Thickers.
